Thanks for plugging our show guys! I didn't know about those RGB namco guns either. When I worked at a game store we got stuck with so many of those crappy LYNX sun guards. I know they never sold and probably got tossed into a dumpster at some point. Great tip about the use of Coaxial cable, I should try that with my Coleco Telstar because I can't get a viewable signal with that dumb thing.

I've seen hi-def CRTs with a DVI input. And a DVI to HDMI adapter exists. Would a light gun work with a Retron 5 & that setup?

You have to take that Megatron out of the box. I was hoping to see you transform it and put the mini cart in. They are making a US Genesis version with Purple trim instead of red that I plan on ordering.

I saw The AVGN movie at Fantasia Fest in Montreal, where it was shown in its world premiere, and I disliked it. It felt forced, jokes fell flat and it was just overly long. In a way it reinforces the whole "E.T. is the worst game ever made" myth and the movie just didn't talk to me.

Very cool show. Nice to see local businesses doing things like this.

I remember inserting the cartridge only 3/4 into the system, then slamming the cartridge downwards so the cartridge lip smashed into place, and that would fix the glitch problems..

We too recently got that Super Game Boy controller from Japan. It works like a charm! :) And yes, you can "save" your color palett changes in the Super Game Boy, via password creation. We just got the Super Game Boy guide last week, and there are passwords listed for certain suggested changes for some of the main games.
